Screws at rear of block oil galleries

Hi all,

After assembling and installing the m130 in the 250C, I crank it without spark plugs and oil is pouring from the back of the block. Somehow the grub screws as the back of the block, that cap the oil galleries are not installed.

What size are these? Or does someone have a part number?

Thanks,
Cole

I think it could be this part N 915014 006101 but that number does not exist - anymore. v Another option is A 00 099 047 12. I think it's an m14, but I don't know the length or pitch.

A web site claims this it 40x20x40. I that is correct then this is the plug in the side of the block.

I googled "N000906030003 screw size" and found a version of the EPC that says they are M30X1.5.

If the parts people at this site can't help you, try bellmetric...

Size M16x1.5. I will update on length once I get the MBZ part.

Of course it is finer threads than the typical options. Mercedes is the best choice, price is good. They can be found by size on eBay, but shipping will take a long time. McMaster-Carr is expensive, but they deliver the next day.

The M30 plug is the one that goes in the side of the block. MBZ has these as well.

click bait. People click on a link, somebody gets a penny. Enough clicks, they get a buck. The effort is in setting it up, not harvesting the reward.

Also, forums count the number of posts, not their quality. Get a few posts in unchallenged and suddenly they have enough of a reputation to not be challenged too fast.
