A brake caliper that is not free enough can create this as well. Make sure the pistons push back easily. Have even experienced an intermittent shaking with this over the years.

If the car was down for awhile. Old calipers do not like sitting. That could account for it was fine until you changed the parts out senario.

No gaurantee it is the problem and easy to check. I never did a wheel temperature test with that problem.

Yet any noticeable differance between either side with a digital temperture reader after a highway run would need investigation. Coasting to a stop using only the emergency brake. I am uncertain how an alignment would change the speed the vibration occurs at.

The last time I knew everything the wife was kind enough to correct me. I
know she would like to spare me. It is just the nature of the beast in women not to.

I accidentally engaged her valet switch in the glove compartment the other day. She told me she could not get the trunk open with all the release methods. Well I found the issue and corrected it. Left a note on her laptop your trunk works again. So you can go shopping. Do I get some brownie points?

Her inqusition started. I had to admit eventually. That the answer. I had used. That i had used the internal trunk release to do it was not the right answer. At the end of the conversation I was denied my brownie points.

My car gets driven fairly often and was only down for about 2 weeks for the first work done (steering coupler, steering box, 4 shocks and engine mounts).

It hasn't been driven for longer periods of time (4-6 weeks) before that and I never had an issue. But as I mentioned, the recent alignment has helped quite a bit and I drove it this past Sunday about 120 miles and it was comfortable enough to drive on the highway compared to when I barely got the car back the first time.

I will try and see if I can get the spin balance done on the car the next weekend I'm available and see if that makes any difference (I'm sure it will in some way). As of now, I'm happy I can drive the car on the highway again with slight shaking around 65MPH so I go a little faster or slower than that depending on traffic flow to avoid shaking at that speed for long periods of time.
