w114 brake booster valve
I've had a hard time finding a replacement for this vacuum valve going to the brake booster. the one that I have may or may not work. I don't really know how these work. And the new one is smaller. Any thoughts? or part #s?

I've only seen them sold with the hard plastic line. What year and model W114 is it?

check valve
It's a '71, first series. hat confuses me is there are several listed for 280's and 250sl's but look different than my broken one.

By the way, the above new part will work, even though everyone's web site says it wont. I wondered why it fit a 1971 280, 250SL etc. but not a 250. The always nice folks a Classic Mercedes in Irvine assured me that the original part was NLA and the part i got was actually the part I needed.

the check valve is 000 431 35 07 but no longer available. I have ordered parts from Mercedes Classic and will post pictures etc. when they arrive. you can get the valve from Pelican, and most of the usual suspects. A '71 250C isn't listed as a used in>

valve and hose
I got the parts today from Classic's. I had to heat the hose a little to get it over the fittings.
