W114 and other models steering box reminder
The next time you are doing any maintenance on your /8 or other models (W108, etc.) don't forget to check the torque on the steering box mount bolts.
Just a reminder, try to avoid this: http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/vintage-mercedes-forum/107116-280c-steering-woes.html 50 Ft/LP or 68 Nm. |
