Hang on to those....the undamaged ones.....If you ever do valve seals its real easy to lose even one......
But reading again I see where you are going with this.....Yes I think its a good idea to check.....dropping a valve would be a very bad thing....at least you will know if all yours (all 24) are accounted for and can sleep peacefully knowing it was dropped in the distant past.

Nope, only found the one half, I was just trying to see if I could get away with not removing the cam. I prefer the sleeping good at night method though.
