I got a quote from a MB tech who does work on the side to fix my car. For $270 including parts he is going to replace the steering lock, ignition switch, and the hood release cable. Is that a fair price for the work? Right now I cannot even open the hood due to the cable breaking.

Also the tech is going to pick it up tomarrow morning and drop it off tomarrow night, so it will be done in one day
