looks like you have some experience in resealing the pump. I have done mine a 91 560SEL few days ago, but the problem that I cannot resolve is the leak from the front seal. It is an o-ring that seals the front. I have redone it twice, but no luck. Fluid keeps on seeping out. I followed the torque specs - 9 Nm for the 2 hex screws for the bearing cap, and 11Nm for the 4 hex screws to mount the pump onto the engine. The sealing ring located at the back of the pump for the cam, is ok after replacement.

Any tricks that you can share? Other posts that I have read says that it is very difficult or impossible to solve a leak from the the front seal....

I have seen used pumps for $150. This is my next plan....

thx
