To continue - A friend of mine who has a '92 400E told me about the E500 and after I researched it decided I had to have one. We have never had the 2 cars side by side but we did do a little test between my 928 and his 400E (he has a 928 also so we have a lot in common). I would have thought I would just "blow away"/"blow the doors off" his 400E but in reality I was just sort of scooting by him from about 50 to 80/90 or so. Thats with a 60hp 300lb advantage with better gearing. I was amazed by his 400 - real world is different than published stats.
