no matter how good
you have it, you can always find quickly someone who has it better.
fortunately (or unfortunately) also no matter how bad you have it you can also quickly find someone who has it worse.
so the best thing is to take your feelings of satisfaction from within. sometimes when you do something really good, nobody notices. so you just have to know that you did and go on. have your internalized standards and forget about the other guy. feeling envious or superior is not healthy. just try to meet your own standards and keep truckin'.
and often just doing something simple but positive and productive like changing your brake pads will do a lot for your good feelings about yourself.
and i generally try to avoid going into the dealership as much as possible. most of the cars i would be interested in they send to the auction or never see!
