Basically, the kit is to improve the look underhood. If you simply with to disconnect the EGR, you can accomplish this with a $.10 BB in the line to the EGR valve.

yes one of those seemed to have been 'lodged' in the line to my EGR.. about 5 years ago. i was at rye playland and lost miserably at the machine gun game..lol .. there were hundreds of bb's lying all around ... now what was a w123 owner to do ??!!
i still would like to get rid of the ugly beast on the engine though .. any kits still available?
