That sucks Fuzz.

You could try what I do during the winters up here (and have started doing unconsciously when at home) to keep from getting rear ended. Seems the bozos here in Michigan like to wait till the very last second before applying brakes, which result in numerous rear enders. My defense has been to stop with at least one complete car length, preferably two (except some dipwad always tried to squeeze into my "zone"), then watch the rear view. As the approaching car gets closer, I let the car inch forward always ready to apply right foot to eat up my cushion in the event dipwad doesn't quite stop. It has worked well for 2.5 winters now, knock on burlwood.
