I stuck the front floor mats in the washing machine. The sound deadening material and adhesive that glues it to the carpet didn't like that too much. I then left it outside for a couple weeks draped over a railing where it was forgotten, then rained/snowed on several times. Funny enough, they look pretty good now. Just missing some sound deadening material...
