The price per hour I figured was too location dependant to be meaningful in this discussion. I would guess that the Manhattan rate (where I live) is at least twice the US average rate.

Luckily I found a place that isn't too far (by public transportation) in NJ. Still high, but closer to the average. Sounds like a topic for a different thread.
