Hi Everyone,
I have a clunking sound that started in my 300E. It sounded like my new exaust my have come loose but I checked it and it seems okay. The noise is comming from the right rear wheel well and will make the noise when I bob the rear up and down or hit a bump. I removed the wheel but couldn't visually see anything loose. Its a metalic sounding clunk!
Any ideas as to what I could check? The whole rear sub-frame was completely rebuilt about 2 years ago so that rules out a bad bushing. Any thoughts?
