Timothy Treadwell (not even his real name) was a liar, drug addict and fraud. He lied about being from Australia (born/raised in New York/New Jersey), going so far as to fake his accent. He bilked hundreds of thousands from Hollywood elitists for his "non-profit" organization, even though no such organization was ever registered with the IRS.

Any wildlife biologist worth a nickle will tell you his methods were worthless, and his actions harmed the very creatures he claimed to be fighting for.
