There is an easy trick to getting the 22mm plug out.
Take a 1/2 drive spark plug socket and insert an extension bar into the plug socket from the plug opening end . The hex top of the socket will fit the 22mm allen head on the tank drain plug....use a 1/2 drive ratchet on the extension...bingo !!!
