From what I have gathered by reading opinions on this site and also Stan's description, the 280c has a more complicated twin cam engine than the 250c. I haven't seen any negative posts about the 250 except concerning the carburators which can easily be changed to webers. On the contrary it seems that 250c owners are some of the happiest.The most compelling reason is that the 280 is almost $2000 more than the 250. Hopefully, time permitting, this weekend I hope to buy a car. Then you guys can really expect to see some questions. Thanks, Richard
