the engine is plain vanilla OM602 5-banger, 722.3 auto, 3" exhaust, modified IP, intercooler and there was HX40. next summer there will be some internal mods, Bf Goodrich Drag Radials rear and 2.65 diff good for 160+ mph top speed. turbo is gonna be just slightly bigger HX50, since HX40 put too much boost and i had to add an external wastegate in order to keep boost levels under 30psi. physical size of the HX50 is bit problem, since W201 is a small car. here's a picture with small HX40: http://www.pbase.com/camerafin/image/45610429/large


this is nothing compared Big boys Mercedes diesels with 6-cylinder engines found in Finland

well, for me it runs just fine for an old diesel, and i'm not shooting to the moon
