Looking under the Vintage Auto's section (probably should have posted it here), I have a 230 SL with a rear axle noise. I currently have it out and am in the process of tearing it all down. I might be interested in your rear end,if you decide to change.

I just read in my W113 forum that a Pete Lester (W113sl@AOL.COM) has a 3:46 rear axle for sale l@ $400.
