Well I guess I started this dance, so I apologize as well.
Upon a couple of days of reflection it occurs to me that at least parts of this thread are about denial.
Our idea of culture is between the proverbial rock and frying pan. If nothing is done to curtail consumption, we are headed for big problems. If nuke based energy spreads we are headed for big problems. We are doing everything we can to advance the idea of consumerism, which itself is headed for big problems. Is there an alternative?
