Don't know what year you have, but i'll assume the switches are the same as on my '78 300D. Have you tried taking the switches apart? They might just need a cleaning. I had problems with one of mine and that was all it took. They are simple to tear down and clean. You might want to try swapping switches around to determine if it is truely a switch problem.
