Is there a company out there that makes an intake for the 4.5? I have a 1972 280 SE but I think it may be a SEL? Any way. I have no fuel pump or impulse to the injectors with noid lights. I am not a classic Mercedes mechanic so it’s a bit confusing to me. I suspect the ECM but it could be a relay. I have no idea what relay to check and considering the age of this car and shortage of parts I think the best thing to do would be to get a intake and a carburetor. If there is one to be found. I run a shop and got this car from a customer who was fed-up to her eyeballs with the car. It has 67K on it and was always kept in a garage. It’s just in grand shape, except for this injection problem. So rather than rable on about the car I shall just ask the question. Is there a carbureted intake for the 4.5, factor or aftermarket.
