you struck a chord with a djet lover. he did close with positive suggestions though, and i agree with him.

i am pretty sure that the 450 was never offered with a carb, so if you really really want one you will have to heliarc one up from half of a mb intake and half of some 'merican intake in aluminum. i see no reason it wont work but it wont be simple. and half the power is not likely to be the result. prob 75% or 80 though.

but prob best to get the stock system working. converting to a carb will make it about sale proof prob.

may as well stick in a chebby motor and sell off the benz lump.
