My car was fixed by replacing the ATE pads with the Textar pads with the built on shim.
No more squeals. That means it was either the composition of the pad itself or the caliper cylinder was not pushing sqarely on the rear of the pad. But the pads were worn evenly so I doubt it.
But now my rear brakes locked up completely on both sides this week. It has nothing to do with the pads, but most likely the master cylinder.
