OK,
I just went out to finally try the peanut butter,
after making sure the neighbors weren't looking (they already wonder why/how we have 3 mercedes)
I smeared the peanut butter over all 4 door handles,
(I used "Adams 100% natural" creamy.)
hosed it off,and YES YES YES! they look like new!
so I did the 300TD,
beautiful!
I noticed that the 123 (82 300td) had black handles and the 126 '85 380se) has grey?
anyway,another great tip from this website.
I'm doing "Guide Rod Bushings" tomorrow,and I still dont have my 126 service books!
