Under "usage" on the auction it says: "End Use: SMALL UNIT SUPPORT VEHICLE (SUSV) (TACTICAL VEHICLES)" Perhaps they were/are used in important military/secret service vehicles? Ones where they needed reliability...... 
It does indeed look different, it seems to have oil lines or something going across the top....perhaps for aux cooling or a more compact oil cooler? Who knows....we all will if someone buys it! Also I noticed that it seems to have a factory installed cap on the EGR opening and no EGR is present!  I bet it was definatley intended for military use, they don't care about emissions.
