I wonder what the government intends to do with these 603 engines. If it can be used for the 1987 300D and 300TD, and the SDLs, it may interest some folks. WOW, the feds do pay good money for them - $30K+ each. Do anybody know whether these engines can be easily adapted to be used in the cars listed above? I assume they come with the original #14 heads, and the old vacuum pumps. Shipping this would be expensive.
