Anyway, now that I've read that second sentence, I'll respond to it: I'm absolutely aware of it. Anything thats delivered via truck (or plane) will go up in price, not to mention all the many products that are made w/ petr products like plastic, laundry detergent and paint.
So let me clarify this: I DO NOT THINK THE OIL CRISIS IS FUNNY. I was only making light of one aspect of it: the way people talk about and react to it. I tend to assume that everyone listening to me is going to know what my stance is and what my knowledge level is in regards to the issue ... I do it all the time ... which is my mistake. With all the posters on here, no one is going to remember everything I have said in the past (which would reveal the fact that I have more depth on the oil issue than my post in this thread would suggest).
Did that make any sense, to anybody?
