Unfortunately, the two broken spring pieces are not easily accessible. I have to remove the seat from the frame. Just like you would have to do to replace the whole spring and seat pads.

That's the first place I looked. There is one tutorial in the DIY Articles but it doesn't help. It shows a 123 seat which is clearly different. There are no motors in the frame which was never removed.
Then there's this in the DIY Links section:

The link to Dieselgiants tutorial doesn't even show the seat removed at all. But one person did say it could be done but never said how.
