Off-topic but interesting:
In Australia, in the "outback" (the barren, VERY sparsely-populated center of the continent), one can sometimes see semi-trucks towing a series of 4, 5 8, even
10 trailers at once!!!

A pretty amazing thing to witness, especially when you see one for the first time.
Out in that no-man's-land, there's no traffic or congestion or sharp turns to deal with, so.... the towing ability of the truck itself is really the only limit to the number of trailers.
