This thread is long overdue. There are at least 2 distinct camps here and opinions are strong on both sides of the fence.

Even though I'll be following this thread, the fact that someone clocked a few thousand or even 10k miles on unheated wvo is statistically insignificant. Thats only 1/25th or 1/30th of the lifetime of a reasonably well cared for engine runnin on diesel.

Finally, I seriously doubt that if anyone killed an engine using WVO they would own up to it here.
