on a 123 you can buy cup holders that attach to dash with velcro. one or two hole with adjustable holes. inexpensive and available i think at autozone.

on my 126 cars i sit them on the edge of the little bin in front of the shifter. cups with square bottoms work best. steady with hand on a corner to the left.
