Rhetrostat-
I was wondering what happend when I was turning my trip meter.

Backlighting-
Those crazy Germans over engineering... Saftey factor of 5, done!

The taking out of park thing-
It bothers me that someone can simply break my window, put it in neutral and push it down a hill. But that chances of that happening - slim... I hope...

Pick your side parking lights-
If the parking lights are going to be on, why not have both on? I would find it more usefull if it was for the headlights. Then I could wink at people with my car.

Power antenna-
Yes, mine is broken in half. And the motor don't work, so I am not to happy about having to replace it. A simple fixed antenna would have worked fine and would not cost as much to replace. Aside from that, 85chedeng300D explained part of the reason why I thougth the power antenna was silly. Why do you need a continuouly variable range for the antenna? If your felling kinda down that day, you can put it up only one third of the way? Or if your really happy, but not the happiest you have ever been, you can put it up fifteen sixteenths of the way up? A simple all the way up or all the way down switch would have worked fine.

Brake lights-
I had a brake line blow yesterday (thank God no one was in front of me) and I replaced it after work. I fixed the line, bleed the system (amazing fact: you can gravity bleed the rears!), and then had my friend go up in the car and step on the brake so I could check for leaks. He stepped on the brake and no lights. Its not really a complaint, but ever other vehicle I have ever delt with will turn the brake lights on when you step on the brake with the key off. Thought it was weird, thats all.
