Congrats on your "new" 240D... and I thought mine had a lot of miles on the odometer! Here's the link to the oil dipstick seal, hopefully that takes care of your oil leak.

Redline MTL is great stuff but can be hard to find; I had to order mine from eBay. Mobil 1 gear oil, which I use in my differential, is probably almost as good.

Here's an idea for your door lock problem... try swapping the driver and passenger outside door handles. They are interchangeable. The inside handles can also be swapped front to back. I did this a few months ago when my door panels were taken apart for repainting, just to squeeze a little more life out of the existing handles instead of getting new ones. Typical frugal Yankee...
