actually, 300d is my everyday driver to work about a total of 50 miles both ways, workbound and homebound. im doing a combination of both open highway, and stop and go traffic most of the time where the engine runs a little noisy and rough and the water temp is high, but when i get a chance, i drive it 100+ mph which also makes the water temp rise to 100 deg.+. but the engine is quieter and smoother at 3500-4000 rpms. water temp is normal, 80-90 deg at 65-75 mph @ 3000 rpm.
