That 124.032 chassis has a rev limiter for no load on the torque converter protection in N and P .. It will not rev past 4K until it is in gear and the car is taveling past 12mph. ..
Go down the road about 20 MPH and then try N.. it will then rev past 4K
as the ECU is now recieving a speed signal..............
You can retrieve the ignition misfire codes on that model from pin #8 with a simple led flash tool for checking any stored codes from the ECU ignition. Do a search for DIYer code tool by me...
