A meter reading overload is set on too low a range. Step it up to the next higher range. If it is on auto-range, set it on a manual range where it will not indicate overload. It may be helpful for an intermittant condition to use an old analog meter.

Steve, thanks for the tip. I still get OL at cold start ups ( now getting contant reading ) until engine warms up a bit. There's got to be a breakage in connection somewhere. Any ideas where??
