Hey Sixto,

It's not a must have, except for better fuel economy. We already have a 2005.5 VW Jetta TDI. The 190D is the only older MB that comes close the the mileage of my '75 Honda GL1000 of 38 mpg. I would prefer to pleasure ride the bike, and daily driver the MB. The mileage of the car equates to 15,000+ miles per year. Not bad at all in my book. I'll be checking it out this weekend, as well as get estimates on a tranny rebuild.

I had a Chevy P/U that would flare between 2-3. Turned out to be a bad torque converter that decided to implode way out of town at 11:00 pm.
