Turn to key position 1.
Insert a bent paper clip into the two small holes in the barrel part. This should line up the outer barrel face with the inner barrel holes to insert the paper clip.
Push in to unlock the spring lock on the barrel.
The spring has a slope to it's end that crosses the hole that the paper clip will move down and press the lock spring closer to the barrel center line...then pull assembly toward you, along with outer sleeve.
I think the barrel on yours has only one lock spring at the 12 o'clock position .
If you have damaged the barrel assembly to the point where the key will no longer turn you must remove the complete lock assembly by removing the steering wheel/under dash knee panel and instrument panel and drill out the bolts to the steering shaft.
Go to Mercedes dealership parts department with your title and order a complete new assembly, comprizing of : Barrel/Key(s)/lock/electrical switch.
.PS....The paper clip , you need to grind the end with a 60 degree point on one side, so it pushes the spring lock inwards.....the slope on the paperclip should face in to the center of the barrel when installing into the 12 o'clock hole.
