upper oil pan shattered on low curb
hello, newbie to forum. have a 84 300sd that sort of found its way on to curb. the sump pan and upper oil pan are obliterated. i plan to change out myself. question: it looks like replacing the front crankshaft seal is a separate endeavor, has anyone replaced oil pan w/o front seal and survived? also how difficult is the rear seal to replace once pan is out? isnt it some kind of rope seal?
