Ok....I've got egg on my face!
I have a leak by the fuel pump. (not sure how it managed to get to the front - I was sure that the engine fan was blowing the scent at me)
Anyway... of course, my re-chargeable bazillion candlepower light goes dim just as I have the cladding removed.
There is a hose (with at least one crimped steel pipe & fitting) that is quite wet - so naturally, I suspect it to be bad.
I'm going to see if I can find someplace that has a diagram that shows the routing, so I know what this hose goes to - Unless someone here knows for sure...I am guessing it has some sort of compression end, and it gets bolted onto the one of the filter.

UPDATE: It is indeed the hose that goes from the filter to the front of the car....almost more of a mini slit, than a pinhole. Well...at least the hose isn't an arm and a leg....heck..it's not even an arm! ($30)
