In checking my car's ID plate I saw it was made in 7/97 making it a 9 year old this month, so, in honor of its birthday I gave it a bath. It's just about to turn 134K miles and still a pleasure to drive having never run better since I have owned it (about the past 1.5 years). After 9 years it still holds a shine, gets me where I'm going reliably, safely and relatively cheaply...what more can anyone ask for in a car?

And, yes, I removed the badging right after I bought it...personally I like the look from the back without the lettering and just the "star".

I'd considered a CDI but will keep the green monster for the time being, at least until the V6s come out.
