I would have to agree with you Brian EXCEPT the switch in my car is only a two pole switch... I confirmed at the dealer today that the two pole switch at the water outlet is the aux fan switch as you suggested a few posts ago (THANKS!). So after replacing the switch this week, I'll test the temp it activates the fans and then decide if I will try the custom resistor idea...
