Obvious problem No. 1. The exhaust manifold pipe coupling is cracked. The original engine's flange is also cracked.

Obvious problem No. 2. The original engine had been 'upgraded' to Webers. There is no switch for the auto trans. Hmmm.

No so obvious problem. Someone beat on the exhaust pipes in the engine compartment with a hammer probably to bend them a little since the lower pipe is up against the body.

I vacuumed the interior and took the mats out. I also vacuumed out a bunch of leaves and debris from the hood and trunk hinge area. I sprayed the engine with cleaner, it's going to need a lot more. I bought a grease gun and grease.
