And before anyone says you can't find these for $2 or $3k, you are wrong. I have 2 examples and see more of them every day. And if one dropped a cylinder, I'd part it out, buy another in a week, fix the minor stuff, and drive it.

Not to be a jerk either, but if my engine died or droped a cylinder, i would defenently fix it. B/c i know exactly were its been and alot of people that see my car are always asking me about it and saying its the cleanes Euro they have ever seen.
