Brandon:

For my 98 C class, I just purchased some of these in 16x7ET37. The stock E wheels on my '87300E are 15x6.5ET49. The calculator at http://toy4two.home.mindspring.com/offset.html indicated this would have the new wheels, if put on my E, would be sticking out an additional 14mm (~1/2") from the wheel well, and will give an additional 2mm (~1/10") clearance from the suspension. Others have said they will work, but I haven't tried it yet myself. (I am thinking of putting the old polished 8 hole 15x7ET37 rims from the C on my E.)

Also, I have a 2000 MB wheel catalog - all the C class 17"x7, 7.5, or 8" rims were ET35 to 37.
