When having tire work done, ALWAYS tell them to torque to 80. Some places just air ratch them on, some torque to a standard 100.

My Volvo is only torqued to 40 ft-lbs. It's what it calls for in the manual and I had to threaten the place with a lawsuit if they deformed / cracked the hubs if they torqued it to what they wanted. Needless to say they did comply with the owners manual.
