I did take a closer look. The trans. mount is sandwiched between the bottom of the transmission and above the engine/trans support plate. I don't see how you can access the mounting nut from above the trans. when the mount is at the bottom of the trans. The bottom access is blocked by the support closure plate. If you look at the CD in the engine section 22.1-210/2 you might see what I'm getting at.
