At the risk of sounding insensitive I've got to agree with Kamil here. Children get murdered all the time, why do we have to hear about a select few

I agree that it's newsworthy that the alleged killer has been arrested, but after what is it, 7 years? I'm tired of hearing about it.
On a national level ther are many stories that are more relevent to most people's lives, and stories like this one or Laci Peterson would just cause me to change the channel if I in fact had cable.
