What do you mean by change the distributor? The spark distributor is pretty much part of the cylinder head. You can change the distributor cap, rotor, backing plate and seal but that's about it. The fuel distributor is more complicated and typically trouble free. It takes a bunch of diagnosis to isolate the fuel distributor as a problem. Or have you done that already?
